Pfizer #1: FH3221
I am a fairly fit and healthy person who rides to work daily and loves Tough Mudder and Spartan obstacle type challenges. I heard about the mandatory vaccine and was hesitant to take it. I did my research and I didn’t think it was a good idea. It was not until my job security was at stake that I consulted my GP to see if I could get an exemption as my family has a history of heart problems. My GP shut me down quickly saying that I should be fine and shouldn’t worry. I pleaded with the GP but to no avail. It was like a lamb to the slaughter. I decided to take it as I had bills to pay and needed to put food on the table.
On 7 December 2021 I got the Pfizer vaccine. About 30 minutes after that, I felt a weird pressure in my chest. I didn’t think much of it and I was already on my way home. I thought I could sleep through it, and it should be good by the morning. That night I felt like my heart was jumping out of my chest and the thought of the side effects made me more anxious which made it hurt.
The next day, my wife made an appointment with a private GP for the following day as we felt going to the previous GP wouldn’t be helpful. At the private GP appointment I expressed my concerns, and she did two rounds of ECGs. She looked concerned. She wrote me a letter and told me to head to the emergency department as soon as possible.
At the ED, I was hooked up with all the cords to monitor me. More rounds of ECGs were done, and they took a blood sample. The nurse gave me paracetamol two hours in and 30 minutes later he gave me an ibuprofen. At the five-hour mark the clinician came and looked at me, asking the same questions as the nurse. She went away and came back again to tell me that I had pericarditis. The clinician told me that I should be fine after ten days. Since the vaccine, I have reduced energy and am constantly fatigued. I can only wash two dishes and then need to have a lie down. Since the visit to the ED, I was sleeping about 12 hours a night which is not normal for me. My wife had to check on me to see if I was still breathing (it wasn’t funny). I continued to work until the dreadful date to be double-jabbed arrived. I called my previous GP to tell her that I had pericarditis and her reaction was of surprise and she said “Oh I’m so sorry to hear this, you are my first patient with the condition.” She then quickly rushed through the appointment – we spoke for no more than five minutes. So, I made an appointment with the private GP to get a medical certificate to allow me back to work. My manager said, “Oh I’m so sorry to hear that you got pericarditis, but are you going to get the second vaccine? ” I said, “Once I get better.” She gave me an unimpressed look and rolled her eyes.
I didn’t hear back from work until I called on 4 January to follow up. I asked if I was still able to come back and the manager replied with a slight disgust in her voice, “Nooo, you’ll be a high risk to everyone and people are already getting sick with COVID” (I found that odd). I received an email from work eight days later stating that they would extend my stand down for another four weeks (that made it eight weeks). I replied saying that my GP said 12 weeks to monitor my recovery and ensure that I was well enough for the second jab.
Two days later, I received a termination email effective immediately from the head of department. So, since the vaccine I have not only lost my fitness but I have also lost my job. I have sweats, fatigue, constant dull chest pains, and deteriorating mental health. It feels like I am being left out to dry.
Hey mate, 2 Pfizer shots second one 21/12/21 and have had very similar experience as your self, chedt pain after 2nd jab with fever, muscles aching vomiting for 24hrs. Then ongoing slight chest pain on left side, went to work (at sea) condition got progressively worse until evacuated on 10/01/22 hospital diagnosis of pericarditis due to vaccine. Got coerced/threatened into getting vaccinated to keep job, got sick so unable to do job so then get sacked from job I got vaccinated to keep but now have health issues and no career that I had spent 20yrs building in maritime industry… signed up to claim scheme which doesn’t do anything for your mental well being.. have been “accessing” claim for over 4 months and as of yesterday still can’t give even an estimate of how long it may take before I get some answers…
